Happy Birthday Lilly!

This is a card I made for my Sister Laura (also known as Lilly and Lil, don't remember why!) who lives in Australia and is a busy Mum to Oakleigh and Harleigh and a wonderful wife to Locky!

The card was from a Crafters Companion (TM) card kit that is from the Mulberry Wood collection.

I used a pinky coloured card as the base.

I used a Spellbinders (TM) die to cut a background for the front panel with my Grand Calibur (TM) which I thought matched the topper perfectly.

The background, the sentiment and the topper were all taken from the card kit.

Laura will celebrate her birthday on 24th Feb 2013, so Happy Birthday for the 24th Lil.

Happy Birthday Oakleigh!

My nephew Oakleigh lives with his little brother, Harleigh, Mummy and Daddy in Australia and so the birthday card had to be finished quite soon so that it could be posted.

Oakleigh is celebrating his 4th birthday on 11th February 2013 and so this is the card I have made for him.

I used an image from a Crafters Companion (TM) "Cute Companions Vol 1" cd.

I made up a slider card mechanism and added a tab to the right hand side to be pulled, printing a second scene to go beneath the slider to hide the mechanism.

The images are from a set of rubber stamps by Kanban (TM) Bonnie and Billy set.

The train, the clock, the cases and the driver were all coloured in with Pro Markers (TM).

I used Anita's clear gloss finish (TM) to add a shine to the clock and used a swirl from my Silhouette Cameo (TM) to hang the clock from.

Have a lovely day Birthday Boy, we all love you so much, and I hope that you are enjoying going to School now that you are a big boy.

Happy Birthday teenager!

I did an easel card and stationary box for India, my niece, who was 13 on the 28th January 2013.

The idea for the card and the instructions came from Crafters Companion (TM), so thank you Sara and staff for that.

I used a 6 x 6 paper from the "Kate Knight Spring Fling" designer paper stack that was a free gift from Cardmaking and Papercraft (TM) magazine.

The pink "13 Today" was done on, you guessed right, my Silhouette Cameo (TM) machine.

The stamps were from Lili of the Valley (TM), my very favourite, coloured in with Pro markers (TM) from Letraset (TM).

I used a "Kirks Folly (TM) magical matallic violet pearl extra fine embossing powder on the "A Special Day" stamp and the "it's your day" stamp, which looked brilliant, although I say it myself, unfortunately the picture does not do it justice.

I backed the stamped images and the pink card through the centre onto a black card to make them stand out and added pink brads to the drawers.

I finished the drawers off with some Haribo (TM) sweers, it just has to be done!!

India was very pleased with her cake and her card/stationary drawers.

The second creation with my "Cricut Cake" Xmas Pressie

This is my second attempt using my Cricut Cake!

Not perfect, but better, I think, than the first!

It is a thirteenth cake for my niece, India.

I just loved all the glitter sugar on the top!!

I even made the cake myself this time.

My first cake using the "Cricul Cake" XMas pressie!.

This was the very first cake, it is really quite poor, it was a rush job so not very good, hence not having a close up!!

The lucky recipient of these delightful cake was Suzy!

A couple of Christmas Cards.

Just a couple of Christmas cards that I did, only just putting them on, sorry!
I don't know where all the rest have gone, but I really did do more than two!!
