Peter's Card

This is a card for a neighbour up the road, he is always happy to have a joke so I think I should just about get away with this one!

I used a stamp from the Creative Expressions (TM) Murray & Ethel stamp sheet 2.
I coloured in using Pro Markers (TM)
Red glitter card
Most impressive (IMO) an old paper bag which I PVAed to a sheet of acetate to give a shiney effect for the background.

I would like to enter this card for the "April Fool" card challenge below.

I thought it just needed something... so I added three brads down the top right hand side.

I've won a competition with this card! Wow, Wow, Wow! (See the glittergeeks link above and go to April Fool challenge to see proof!)

This card is going to crack your neighbor up for his birthday and I'm sure he's gonna get a good chuckle out of it. Keep up the great designs and keep posting. Will be back to check on you soon. "Hugs"

  8. Very good blog! Do you have any suggestions for aspiring writers?
I'm hoping to start my own blog soon but I'm a little lost on everything.
Would you recommend starting with a free platform like Wordpress
or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that
I'm completely overwhelmed .. Any ideas? Bless you!

  9. Hi and thank you for your kind words. I just started out with a template blog and it certainly did not cost anything, I don't think I would have started if it had!! Good luck with whatever you decide.
