Alistair's Birthday!

This is a birthday card for Alistair who lives just round the corner from us and who is just a couple of weeks younger than I am, honest!!

I made the card using a set template using the "Mimic Creations" CD.
I have added a shrink plastic car as I thought that the card just needed something!
I hope he will like it....

A sympathy card for John

This is unfortunately another sympathy card.
My dear friend Ann died last weekend and I have made this card for John, her wonderful husband.
I worked for many years with Ann who was a true lady and very brave through her terrible illness.
The really sad part is that this is the couple I made an Anniversary card for recently, but I never got to deliver it.

I made the card using a Martha Stewart (TM) punch for the background.
I then used an embossing and cutting die with the most beautiful satin card from Create and Craft (TM) which looks even more beautiful in real life.
I stamped the stamp using Memento (TM) black ink and coloured using my favourite Pro Markers and Flex Markers from Letraset (TM).
The card was finished with a organza bow and a purple button from my stash.

Creating from the Heart: ♥ Spring Giveaway! ♥

Creating from the Heart: ♥ Spring Giveaway! ♥

Aaron is 21!

It is Aaron's 21st and I have done him a quick, quick being the operative word, card!
I have some explaining to do.....
Aaron is now a trainee PCSO and he works in a place called "Tidworth".
All the children seem really scared of him and do anything he says (well I would, he is over 6ft!).

The image I have used of the child is a Joanna Sheen (TM) image from Victorian Ladies and Gentlemen CD.
I used the DO CRAFTS DESIGNER (TM) to set out the background.
I put the image on to gold mirri card and used glaze on the faux brads.

Happy Birthday Aaron!

Peter's Birthday

This is a card for a neighbour, who is a boy at heart!

This is a LOTV (TM) stamp which I love, I coloured it in using my Pro-markers (TM).
I used my Silhouette Cameo (TM) to cut the card to look like a life buoy and also the ring around the stamp.
I die cut the blue stars using QuickKutz Squeeze (TM).
The Happy Birthday stamp is from Crafter's Companion (TM) Paintbox Poppets stamps.
I finished the sails for the yauct off with doodles using a fine liner pen.

John and Ann's Anniversary

I made this card for a special couple that are really great friends of ours.

The background paper is from a stash of 12 x 12 papers that I had (Brenda Pinnick I think!).
I cut all the mats and the flower/star shape out using my Silhouette Cameo (TM).
The image is a Lilli of the Valley rubber stamp that I coloured with good old reliable Pro Markers (TM).
The sentiment is a stamp also from LOTV.
I AM TOTALLY IN LOVE WITH LOTV STAMPS, MORE ARE TO BE RELEASED ON 9TH MAY 2012. Look at the link below to get a sneak preview!

Birthday card from my Crafting Buddy, Rita!

I DID NOT MAKE THIS CARD!

This is a special card that I RECEIVED for my birthday on Saturday, I am so amazed at the work that Rita has gone to to make me a card that I wanted to share it with you.
Rita does not have a blog, but as it made me cry, I could not omit putting a photo on my blog!
Thank you again Rita for such an amazing card!
