Happy Birthday Row!
This is a card for a great friend of mine who celebrates her birthday on 4th October.
I just wanted to have a bit of a go at vintage, so here it is...
I started off with a pearlescent brown card blank and added a background paper and the leaf images which I downloaded from http://digital-doodling.blogspot.co.uk/2012/09/freebies-autumn.html, brilliant papers, thank you "Digital Doodling"!
I added a gold border with a Kanban (TM) border from the CD "The Seasons Collection".
I grunged up a paper doily by adding some Tim Holtz (TM) distress inks.
The image is a Lili of the Valley (TM) (There's a surprise!) which a coloured in using Letraset Pro Markers (TM).
The sentiment is also a LOTV stamp and I circled with a gel pen the number "4".
I added a "Made with Love" charm in the top corner which a added a ribbon to.
To finish I did a bit of sewing to add interest to the edge of the card.

Happy Birthday - 2 Today!
I have really enjoyed making this card for my gorgeous nephew, Harleigh.
This is a Debbi Moore Woodland Cuties Grotto (TM) card and I think it is really impressive.
The card is perfect for adding a battery operated tea light on the base as this lights the inside of the card.
The card is made by printing out the relevant sheets on to a suitable card stock, I used the Crafters Companion Neenah (TM) card as this is quite a stiff card, taking into account that this card will have to travel all the way to Australia!
I decoupaged some of the leaves and nuts after embossing with some clear embossing powder and adding some glitter.
I added a sentiment that I stamped and die cut using my Silhouette Cameo (TM) machine.

You're engaged!
CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR RECENT ENGAGEMENT MATT AND ZOE!
This is a card for a neighbour's daughter who has recently got engaged whilst on holiday in Greece.
I used a foil card and cut a frame and silhouette of a couple with the chap proposing, using my, you guessed it, Silhouette Cameo (TM)!
I added a silver peel off for the sentiment and some paper flowers to which I added some clear heart stick on gems to the centres.

Happy Birthday Catherine!
This card is particulary appropriate as the birthday girl is a member of the ladies group "The Red Hatters" in Swindon, from what I understand, a group of ladies who refuse to grow old and do it ungracefully!
This is a card I made using a Debbi Moore magazine.
The magazine gives all the papers and embellishments to make this great card and so all I had to do was shape the base card using a Spellbinder (TM) die to make an easel card!
SUPER!

Happy Birthday Brother-in-Law
This is a card for Dodge, my Brother-in-Law, he is not much in to "mushy" stuff like cards, so I thought a real basic one was the answer!
I used a blank white DL card and cut a silhouette of James Bond on my Silhouette Cameo (TM) machine.
I added a sticker that reads "Happy Birthday" and there you go.... shaken but not stirred!

Congratulations Evie!
Sorry, I have not been doing much on my blog recently, with recent events I have just not been up to it, but I am back now!
This is a card I did for Evie to celebrate her fantastic results for her GCSE exams, she is only 15 and so is doing these exams a year early and has passed them all with flying colours, well done Evie, we are all so proud of you!
I made this card by using a 6" X 6 " red card base.
I used a lilac backing paper.
The sentiment and star were cut on my Silhouette Cameo (TM) machine and then I finished the card off with a dotty red ribbon.
