Happy Birthday John.

This was a great card to make, I loved it, so much so I have bought more die cutting sets!

I used a dark blue background card.

I used a Papermania (TM) Create a Scene die and cut all the pieces on the "Spellbinders Grand Calibur" (TM).

I used a card for the background which looks like it has been brayered so it goes to blue at the base and rises to white at the top.

I stuck all the pieces using Crafters Companion (TM) "Stick & Stay" adhesive which stuck all the layers to perfection.

There may be some more cards with the Create a Scene theme so look out......!

Thank you!

At the end of February we had a new En-Suite put in as I was finding it more and more difficult getting in/out of the shower as it had a really tall base step.

I made the card as a "Thank you" to the Company who did all the work.

The image is a great favourite of mine and is taken from a La Pashe CD.

I layered it up and put it on to a gate fold green base card.

The image of doors is also on the La Pashe CD and the "Thank you" sentiment was stamped with black Stazon (TM) ink on shrink plastic and die cut with the Grand Calibur (TM).

I put the "Thank you" sign on cotton and hung it from brads that I used as door handles.

The company were delighted with such an unusual "Thank you"!

Happy Anniversary Ron and Ann.

I made this Anniversary card for Ron and Ann using a Crafters Companion (TM) Mulberry Wood card making kit.

The flower die is a Spellbinders (TM) die cut on the Grand Calibur.

Happy Anniversary!

Happy Mummy's Day!

This was the cake and card I made for my Mummy.

The cake once again was iced and then decorated with different colour icing which was cut using the Cricut (TM) Cake machine.

I made the card by using a cream base card.

The image is taken from a My Craft Studio (TM) CD which is beautiful and because you can add elements separately I was able to add the bird cages, the flower and the "LOVE" sentiment and print on the laser printer and then use the Letraset (TM) hot foil machine to add a silver highlight to the card.

I was really pleased with how this card ended up!

Lots of love Mum, always. xxx

Have a great Day Becky!

This was done for Becky's birthday.
Becky is a new relative, she married John's nephew in December 2012.

Becky is a Scottish lady and so I tried to add a little twist of Scotland to this card with the colours and the ribbon bow.

The stamped image is a Crafters Companion (TM) S.W.A.L.K image which I coloured using Pro Markers (TM).

I did a little pen line around the outside of the stamped image as the card seemed a bit white spacey!!

The sentiment was stamped using black ink and die cut using a ribbon tag die.

The idea for this card was definitely influenced from a blog friend called Lou, who I admire greatly and has an amazing blog which can be found here:

Thank you for the great idea. xxx

Happy Birthday Crafting Buddy!

This card was made for my close friend and crafting buddy, Rita.

I used a white base card and added the side borders which were cut on the Silhouette (TM) Cameo machine.

I printed a background which I got from a My Craft Studio (TM) CD.

I printed a sentiment and then die cut a white frame using a die set and the Spellbinders (TM) Grand Calibur machine.

I stitched the background to a base white card and used foam pads to raise it from the base card.

I am really pleased that Rita liked this card.

This was Johnnie's Valentine card, so this post is a little out of place, sorry.

This card was made using an image on the Silhouette (TM) Cameo machine and coloured in using coloured pens.

I used a pink base card and put a paper ribbon under the image which I punched using an edge punch.

The small heart hanging from the tree is a MeiFlower (TM) embellishment which has engraved on it "Made with love".

I printed the envelope and then stamped the "Love" and "Kisses" on the front.

Love you always darling.
Thanks for everything.

This card was made for my dear friend and hairdresser, Julie.

This was a lovely card to make.
I cut a shape with my Sihouette (TM) Cameo machine and cut the base card.
The smaller background design and blue base layer were actually from a die set for the Spellbinders (TM) Grand Calibur machine which went with the base card shape to perfection!

The background image is from the Katy Sue Designs (TM) "Wishing on a Star" CD.

I printed on my laser printer the silhouette of a dancer which was taken from a My Craft Studio (TM) CD.
As the silhouette was printed on the laser printer it meant that I could use my Letraset (TM) hot foiling machine and foil the silhouette.

I made the moon face with an embossing powder and mould set from Kirks Folly (TM) and stuck it to the moon area on the background picture.

I stamped some twirl designs using Versa Mark (TM) ink and brushed on some blue "Special touch of Mica" powder.

I added a sentiment and some silver candi to finish.

My Sister lives in Australia and so a cake I thought was impossible, until Archie said he liked Daddy's car cake so much could I do another one!

My John suggested a cake for Laura in Australia!!

The cake was iced in pink and all the decoration is cut using my Cricut (TM) Cake machine.

I told Laura it was a very nice tasting cake!!

Happy Birthday Son!

This is the cake that I made for John's son, John.
He loves his cars and so this seemed the obvious choice.
The icing for the decoration was cut using my Cricut (TM) Cake machine.
The cake was especially enjoyed by John's son, Archie!

John's birthday card has done a runner at the moment, if I find it I will add it to this post!
