Happy Anniversary!

I have a couple of Anniversary cards to make for July and so I thought I would start with this one.

I have made this card using the STAMPS I WON from Anne and Lili of the Valley (TM)!
They are the magnificent "Posy Trio" and I am still excited that I won them, fancy, me winning eh!

I used a DL card and added some background paper that I used from the Polka Doodles (TM) Pretty Sweet CD.

I embossed a card (which is difficult to see I know but it is there) and used my Spellbinder (TM) edgeability die to add the detail to the edges.

I punched scalloped circles using a punch from The Whitewash Coredinations (TM) paper and sanded it down to reveal the core raspberry colour.

I coloured the stamped images in with my Pro markers (TM) and added some Imagination Crafts (TM) Sparkle Medium to the flowers and the butterfly.

I added a sentiment stamp which I backed on to green background card.

Happy Anniversary Dad & Mum!

This is a card for my Mum and Dad's Anniversary, I hope they like it!

I used a white card blank and covered it with a sheet of background taken from Kanban Seasons CD (TM) which is a really great cd.
I cut out the frame, the flowers and the leaves from adhesive backed gold foil paper using the Silhouette Cameo (TM) and a frame that I downloaded from www.birdscards.com which is a lovely web site.

The stamped image is from a Bazoo (TM) clear stamp pack and is stamped on to Neenah stamp card from Crafters Companion (TM).
I coloured the image using my good old faithful Letraset Pro Markers (TM) pens and added a deep green bow to go with the background.

Happy Birthday!

I have made this Happy Birthday card for a young lady called Pat.
I used a cream base card with a brown special effect card for the background paper and then used a "Card Companions" element from Crafters Companions (TM) "Fairy Poppets" CD for the background.
I glossed the buckle part of the border and punched out three buttons.
The swirl is a "Spellbinders" (TM) die that I used to cut out from the same card that I used in the background and also around the buckle border to make it stand out.
The Happy Birthday sentiment is from a DO Crafts (TM) sentiment sheet.

The little girl image is taken from the Mabel Lucie Attwell (TM) Vol 1 CD and I have coloured it in using Letraset Pro-markers (TM).
I then used Tim Holtz (TM) distress ink and distressed the edges to give a slightly aged look to the image.

Happy 40th Sar!

This is a "card" I made for my Sister, Sarah's 40th which is on 16th June 2012.
She asked me if I thought she LOOKED 40 the other day, how do you answer that one diplomatically?!

I cut the shaped pieces of the card on my Silhouette Cameo (TM) using a template that was very kindly put to the UKScrappers (TM) web site by 2magpies.  Thank you so much Joyce, I just hope I have done your template justice.

I then decided to go with a red, white and blue theme, the time just seemed right!!
The back of the card was finished with some DO CRAFTS (TM) Papermania "Portobello Road" paper that was a free gift with this month's issue of "Creativity" magazine.  I adjusted the size using a photo editing software as I wanted a width of 5" and not A4.
The swrily bunting stamps are from a set by Anna Griffin (TM).
I finished the inside of the shape off with some Rub on's from my stash and also some gems and ribbon keeping the red, white and blue theme.

I just hope Sarah will like it!
